From 1 June to 11 June 2010 our Department's staff are going to deliver a series of lectures under the common title of
Nonlinear Days 2010
at the Optimization and Control Theory Department.
Below is the preliminary schedule of the Nonlinear Days '10 at the OCTD (the abstracts of the talks will be available later):
Marcin Borkowski
On Henstock-Kurzweil integral over unbounded intervals
Daria Bugajewska
BV solutions to nonlinear integral equations
Piotr Kasprzak
Mappings of higher order and applications to nonlinear equations
Jerzy Grzybowski
Minimal pairs of bounded closed convex sets as minimal representation of elements of the Minkowski-Rådström-Hörmander spaces
The theory of minimal pairs of bounded closed convex sets was treated extensively in the monograph Pairs of Compact Convex Sets, Fractional Arithmetic with Convex Sets by D. Pallaschke and R. Urbański. During the seminar we will summarize the known results and present new ones. Illustrative examples will be given as well.
